On Monday the vehicle would not start, a ton of faults came up and all manner of lights, including permanent hazards, which would flash even without the key in ignition, and: Transmission fault - limited gears available. A lunch time when I attempted to drive away the engine accelerated little movement by the LR4 (tranny slippage) and I got a "Transmission Fault", 2 attempts which would reset after engine shutdown. When I attempted to shift it in sport mode it I got the engine symbol and failed to move.
Alternatively, you could disconnect the negative terminal to your battery and leave it disconnected for about 30 minutes. Then reconnect, reinitialize your SAS and try again. Also, check the basics like your battery and charging voltage to ensure that you just don't have a flat battery which can also cause issues like this. MJR.
